The Future of Food: ESG Risks and Opportunties in the Global Food Sector

Morgan Stanley’s Environmental and Social Finance Forum and the FAIRR Initiative invite you to join us for this December panel discussion.

Policymakers and corporations are faced with the imminent challenge of feeding the world’s rapidly growing population — set to hit 9.7 billion people by 2050.  Consumers are also becoming increasingly aware and even more discerning, about not only what they eat, but also where and how that food is produced.

How is the global food industry responding to these conflicting challenges to ensure that it is meeting all aspects of consumer demand?

We will hear from an expert panel on how the global food industry is responding and adapting to the risks and opportunities with regard to climate change, resource scarcity, human health, and changing consumer preferences. We will also learn how companies and investors are assessing these material ESG factors both through a risk lens and from an innovation perspective.
