Nicola joined the FAIRR Initiative in March 2021. She contributes to the development of the Coller FAIRR Protein Producer Index methodology and conducts research into the policies and practices of major protein producers.
Her passion for sustainability has led her to have a diverse experience spanning from coffee farming, renewable energies and crop consultancy to innovation management. Most recently, she conducted research in East Africa and Europe focusing on the link between farmers climate resilience and their ability to innovate. Nicola holds a BSc in Agriculture from the Technical University of Munich and two MSc degrees in Sustainable Agriculture and Entrepreneurship in Life Sciences from Wageningen University in the Netherlands.
