Rajel joined the FAIRR Initiative in June 2022 and leads the collaborative investor engagements on Working Conditions and Climate risk.
Before this, he worked independently and was also an adviser at an e-commerce start-up. Rajel has held senior research positions at consulting firms (The Hackett Group, 3d Innovations) covering company risk analysis, capital markets regulation and ESG investing. He began his career as an economist in fixed income research (Sanpaolo IMI, Informa Global Markets). Areas of focus included global central bank policy research and multi-asset class investment commentary.
Rajel holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from Loughborough University and an MSc in International Banking & Financial Services from the University of Reading. He is a CFA® Charterholder and CIPM® certificant with a track record in professional mentoring and volunteering with CFA Institute.
