Jeremy Coller Foundation Announces New Policy Director Helena Wright

12 February 2021

11 February, London. The Jeremy Coller Foundation today announces the appointment of Dr Helena Wright as its Policy Director, a new role focusing on policy solutions to the risks and opportunities surrounding intensive animal agriculture for investors.

Previously Vice President of Sustainable Finance at the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in Singapore, Helena will bring her significant experience in climate finance and sustainable investment to the Foundation’s policy workstream as it focuses on pushing for meaningful change in food-related policy at COP26 and its first Future of Protein Summit in 2021.

In addition, Helena will work closely with the FAIRR Initiative, the world’s fastest-growing ESG network representing over $28 trillion in assets under management. She also joins the executive committee of the Foundation to support its broader policy interests in key focus areas including education.

As Policy Director for the Jeremy Coller Foundation, Helena will engage with governments, regulators, industry bodies and investors to promote greater understanding of the ESG risks surrounding intensive animal agriculture and build increased engagement around sustainable policies and business practices.

Jeremy Coller, Founder of FAIRR and CIO of Coller Capital said:

“As we seek sustainable solutions to the climate and COVID-19 crises, we’re delighted to have Helena Wright on board to help us put the urgent financial, environmental and public health risks of factory farming right at the front of policy agenda. With her expertise in this field, we look forward to continuing to work with our investor members to change the conversation around factory farming.”
