
Fiona joined FAIRR in October 2022 working within FAIRR’s Protein Producer Index. Her current work is centred on assessing and benchmarking companies against FAIRR’s Index methodology, with a focus on Climate, Water Security and Alternative Proteins.
She holds a BSc in Physics from Cardiff University and an MSc in Climate Change: Environment, Science and Policy from King’s College London. During her master’s, Fiona focused her research on global sustainability challenges in the agri-food sector. Her dissertation modelled the impacts of Sino-Brazilian soy supply chains on biome-level deforestation and emissions risk, as well as on biodiversity intactness. She brings experience from working in a scientific communications agency and conducting research for the UNEP-WCMC.
