The FAIRR Initiative is delighted to host an event on the sidelines of PRI in Person 2025, Financing a Just Transition for the Agri-food Sector, taking place in Brazil this November.
This event will bring together investors, corporates, and expert voices to explore the role that finance can play in connecting action on climate and nature with inclusive development pathways for the agri-food sector. It will also shine a light on concrete just transition initiatives addressing key, closely interconnected challenges in Latin America’s food systems - from deforestation to rural livelihoods - and compare these with lessons from other regions.
Participants will hear directly from investors as they share the constraints and challenges they face in integrating a just transition lens into their climate and nature strategies, and engage in discussions on practical solutions to overcome these barriers. Join us to connect ideas, share experiences, and discover how finance can drive a fair and sustainable transformation of the global agri-food sector.
