10 Years of FAIRR

For the past decade, FAIRR has been providing investors with data and research to help them make more informed decisions regarding their exposure to companies in the global food system. Founded to bridge this critical knowledge gap, FAIRR has developed deep technical expertise in the intensive animal agriculture sector. Today, FAIRR’s investor network represents over US$80 trillion in AUM. This growth in our membership clearly demonstrates that investors recognise the material risks and opportunities inherent in this sector, from global emissions, biodiversity loss, water scarcity, pollution and antibiotic overuse to alternative proteins, nature-based solutions and supportive regulatory changes.  

As FAIRR celebrates 10 years of impact and achievement with its members, there is still much to do, but FAIRR is well-positioned to bring stakeholders together on the journey toward a resilient, sustainable food system.

This landmark report takes stock of how 60 of the world’s largest protein producers are confronting the defining risks of our time - from climate change and biodiversity loss to antimicrobial resistance and social challenges.

Drawing on the 2024 Coller FAIRR Protein Producer Index, it celebrates progress while exposing critical gaps that threaten the transition to a more resilient food system. With 2030 on the horizon, FAIRR calls for bold, accelerated action from all actors in the global food system, from investors to companies, policymakers and farmers themselves.
