FAIRR will host an in-person investor roundtable in Sydney, bringing together leading institutional investors for a focused discussion on the financial risks and investment opportunities emerging from the global food system transition.
Issues such as water scarcity, biodiversity loss and health risks are increasingly recognised as financially material across food and agriculture value chains. This session will explore how these risks are manifesting across agri-food supply chains and why they require greater attention within investment analysis, stewardship and portfolio management. FAIRR will share investment-relevant insights from its thematic research, highlighting how its data, tools and stewardship support can help identify portfolio exposure, emerging vulnerabilities and areas of opportunity.
Held under the Chatham House Rule, the roundtable will focus on practical investor strategies for navigating food system risks. The discussion will explore approaches to strengthening portfolio resilience, integrating food system considerations into investment processes, and engaging companies on key sustainability challenges across agriculture and food production. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange perspectives with peers, ask questions and share experiences in a candid, investor-only setting.
Speakers:
Fiona Reynolds, President, FAIRR Initiative
Isobel Rosen, Senior Analyst, Investor Outreach, FAIRR Initiative
