Abigail Herron is the Executive Director at the FAIRR Initiative, leading its strategic direction and overseeing the delivery of research, tools, and investor engagements for its global network of more than 400 members.
Experience
Abigail has worked in sustainable finance since 2005, beginning her career in corporate law before leading corporate governance at The Co-operative Asset Management (now part of Royal London).
During her 12 years at Aviva Investors, Abigail held several senior roles, including Global Head of Responsible Investment and Head of Responsible Investment Engagement. Most recently, she worked within the natural capital team in private markets, focusing on high-integrity carbon and nature investments and supporting the transition to a nature-positive economy.
She has 18 years of buy-side experience across public and private markets, working with investors, companies, NGOs, and policymakers on complex sustainability issues.
