Kate joined FAIRR in 2021 as a Communications Graduate. Her role primarily involves providing design support, encompassing the creation of designed assets and management of the design process for FAIRR-branded collateral. Additionally, Kate leads video content creation and ensures a cohesive brand presence across social media platforms. 

Working at FAIRR 

Kate actively participates in events alongside the wider FAIRR team, filming panel discussions and conducting stakeholder interviews to capture invaluable insights on advancing sustainable investment practices. In leading the creation of video content, Kate ensures that it aligns with FAIRR's brand identity, thus maintaining a consistent and professional image. 

Additionally, she plays a pivotal role in in-house design through crafting visually engaging assets for insights and social media and providing guidance on branding elements to uphold FAIRR's visual identity. Beyond this, Kate oversees FAIRR’s social media channels, maintaining a comprehensive schedule and managing the output to maximise engagement and reach. Furthermore, her responsibilities extend to event logistics enhancing FAIRR's presence and impact in the field. 

Experience 

Kate has previous work experience in communications at Amnesty International, as well as experience working on a research project examining urban agriculture as a means to enhance sustainable food systems in Kampala, Uganda. 

She holds a BA in Management and French from King’s College London and an MSc in Development Administration and Planning from UCL. During her master’s, she investigated the link between responsible business practices and development in the developing nations, researching working conditions across tea plantations in Kenya.
