Sumie joined FAIRR in October 2026 as a Junior Analyst within the Research and Data team.
Working at FAIRR
Sumie focuses on identifying the materiality scores of companies within FAIRR’s Protein Producer Index, assessing the risks and opportunities facing the relevant sectors through quantitative and qualitative research.
Experience
Prior to joining FAIRR, Sumie was a Research Analyst at JETRO London, a Japanese government organisation, where she focused on UK and Nordic policy and business developments, particularly in sustainability-focused areas such as immigration, energy and the net-zero transition. She completed her Master’s degree in International Development at Nagoya University in March 2025 and has previous full-time internship experience with UN organisations such as UNICEF and UNHCR.
