Megan serves on a consultancy basis as FAIRR’s US Policy Advisor. She provides strategic input and analysis to FAIRR on both US policy and on geopolitical issues.
Megan is a former US trade negotiator, having served in the International Trade Administration at the US Department of Commerce and at the Office of the US Trade Representative in the Office of the President of the United States. Since leaving government service, Megan has served as an economic, political and policy advisor to foundations, NGOs and investors, with a focus on agricultural and food system transformation. Prior to government service, Ms. Waters worked as an economic consultant focused on mergers and acquisitions.
Megan is based in Washington, DC. She holds a BA from Smith College and and MSc from the London School of Economics.
