The FAIRR Initiative and Domini Impact Investments are hosting the webinar “Climate Transition Strategies: The Role of Regenerative Agriculture and Meaningful Support to Enable Farmer Transition”. This is open to the public and will explore the issue of land-use change and degradation, highlighting the risks and dependencies it creates for companies in the food and agriculture sector.

The agenda will cover the following:

  • Speakers will examine why food systems transformation is needed, and the extent to which corporate regenerative agriculture programs are addressing this.

  • By evaluating the practices and framing, they will explore the potential, as well as limitations, and delve into regenerative agriculture in the context of corporate transition plans that account for climate, nature, and human rights.

  • The discussion will also provide investors with insights on how to evaluate and assess the credibility of corporate programs in regenerative agriculture.

  • Through real-world examples, the speakers will showcase emerging trends, best practices, and lessons learned - while also pointing to current gaps and offering recommendations for value creation through improved commodity production.
