Join this webinar from FAIRR, which will provide an in-depth view of why robust traceability systems are essential for global seafood supply chains to ensure transparency, reduce environmental and social risks, and enable the implementation of more responsible business practices.

Speakers will share key findings and recommendations from the newly published Seafood Traceability Engagement | Phase 2 Progress Report (February 2026), developed by a coalition including the FAIRR Initiative, WWF-US, Planet Tracker, UNEP FI, the World Benchmarking Alliance.

During the session, we will also explore practical pathways for seafood companies to build traceability commitments into meaningful, on-the-ground implementation. The discussion will highlight the tools, strategies, and collaborative actions that companies and their many stakeholders can take to strengthen traceability performance across the sector – including how investors can actively support and incentivise companies to accelerate progress, from engaging on disclosure expectations to backing innovations that enhance supply chain transparency.

Speakers:

  • Lauren Lynch, Manager, Blue Finance, WWF-US

  • Laure Boissat, Manager, Research & Engagement – Oceans, FAIRR Initiative

  • Preston Whitt, Senior Programme Officer, Fisheries, WWF-US
