Join FAIRR and WWF for the second webinar in their collaborative series covering supply‑chain traceability and data interoperability.

Interoperable digital traceability is a foundational infrastructure that enables compliance with evolving regulatory expectations, helps to manage deforestation risk, and enables greater alignment across global commodity supply chains.

This webinar will help investors understand how interoperable traceability supports regulatory and due diligence expectations, as well as identify questions to ask portfolio companies around digital traceability, interoperability, and regulatory preparedness.

The webinar will highlight the role of the Global Traceability Framework for Beef and Leather (GTFBL) and the United Nations Transparency Protocol (UNTP) in advancing this standardised approach, explaining how it can extend beyond beef and leather to other forest-risk commodities.

FAIRR will also provide insights into the evolving policy and regulatory landscape surrounding deforestation, highlighting key policy signals that will be shaping how interoperable traceability systems can support companies in meeting compliance and due diligence expectations.

Speakers:

  • Fernando Bellese, Senior Director of Beef and Leather Supply Chains, WWF-US

  • Blake Harris, Managing Director, Global Food Traceability Center, Institute of Food Technologists (IFT)

  • Christian Hudson, Chair of the UNECE Team of Specialists on Traceability of Sustainable Value Chains, United Nations Transparency Protocol (UNTP)
