Sofia de la Parra joined FAIRR in March 2021. As Senior Manager, she leads investor outreach across North America and Latin America, with a focus on strengthening collaboration with investor members and growing the network.
Working at FAIRR
In her current role, Sofía works closely with technical specialists to translate thematic research into financially material insights. She leads investor engagement across the Americas, shaping FAIRR’s value proposition to meet evolving investor priorities, strengthening long-term relationships, and elevating FAIRR’s profile through thought leadership, representation at industry events, as well as public speaking and media engagement.
Previously, as part of FAIRR’s Research and Engagement team, she led a large-scale collaborative engagement on climate transition, bringing together 23 publicly listed companies and 84 institutional investors representing over US$23 trillion in assets.

Experience
Sofía’s experience spans finance and sustainability. Before joining FAIRR, she led the project finance venture at Naked Energy Ltd, a clean-tech start-up. She previously worked as a Rating Analyst at S&P Global, assessing corporations across various industries, including retail, consumer products, and building materials.
She holds an MSc (Distinction) in Climate Change, Management and Finance from Imperial College London and a first-class BA in International Business Management from Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City. Sofía also holds CFA certificates in Sustainable Investing, as well as Climate Risk, Valuation, and Investing. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and proficient in German, and has professional experience across Latin America, Europe, and North America.
