Investor teach-in | What COP17 means for investors in sustainable food systems

As global food systems remain the single largest driver of biodiversity loss, the outcomes of COP17 in Yerevan carry direct financial materiality for investors across the agri-food value chain. Join FAIRR for a closed-door investor teach-in exploring what’s at stake at COP17, including the global review of progress against the Global Biodiversity Framework, and what the outcomes could mean for sustainable food systems and investment. The session will combine a concise briefing from FAIRR’s policy team with an interactive discussion on COP17 priorities, engagement opportunities and how investors can help drive implementation of the Global Biodiversity Framework.

Workshop | How to connect different solution levers for animal protein transition

This workshop will explore how different transition levers across animal-protein value chains can be assessed and deployed together, with a focus on regenerative agriculture, protein diversification and food loss & waste. Roundtable | Driving the agri-chemical transition: building an ecosystem of corporate, coalitions and solutions providers

Roundtable | From ocean depletion to sustainable seafood: what role can investors play?

Investor teach-in | The price of water: Financial risk and resilience in food systems an example from the livestock industry

Water underpins global food production, yet its financial risks remain largely invisible in company reporting. This session will present FAIRR’s latest evidence on the financial exposure of the livestock sector to water stress, including the limits of technology alone to address these risks. The discussion will explore how regenerative agriculture, nature-based solutions and watershed restoration can help build greater water resilience across food systems, and what this means for investors assessing and pricing water-related risk.

Workshop | Water Risk Monitor Model: Use cases for financial institutions

This closed-door investor session will introduce FAIRR’s Water Risk Monitor model and its three applications: exposure assessment, stewardship and engagement, and policy and systemic change. This investor workshop will explore how nature-related risks can affect portfolios, how investors can interpret emerging disclosures and assess materiality, and how these insights can inform stewardship and company engagement.
