Feeding Change: Building a Resilient Food System Through Protein Diversification
Phase 2 of FAIRR’s Protein Diversification Engagement was completed, supported by 73 investors representing US$11.5 trillion in combined assets. The engagement encouraged 20 of the world’s largest food retailers and manufacturers to reduce the risks tied to animal agriculture by shifting toward healthier, more sustainable protein portfolios.

Grains, Gains and Growing Climate Risks: Building Resilience in Soft Commodity Supply Chains
With up to 70% of the world’s soy and maize destined for animal feed, the animal agriculture sector is increasingly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, which are driving yield and price shifts and supply chain disruption.
FAIRR’s latest report aims to help investors assess companies’ exposure to feed-related climate and nature risks, identify those building resilience, and strengthen stewardship with targeted questions. It also looks at the shifting policy and trade landscape shaping feed costs and traceability, and highlights some emerging solutions that companies could consider to build more resilient supply chains.
