Sustainable Aquaculture Phase 3 Progress Report
FAIRR has completed the final phase of this engagement, focused on reducing the use of wild-caught fish in salmon feed across seven major producers. Supported by 61 investors representing US$12.7 trillion in combined AUM, the engagement analysed the growing sustainability challenges linked to the expansion of salmon farming.

A new benchmark is launching in 2026 to help investors navigate the material risks and opportunities in the seafood sector.
Building on the success of FAIRR’s Protein Producer Index, the Seafood Index will assess 20 of the world’s largest seafood and aquaculture companies against key sustainability and financial risk factors.
