Discover FAIRR’s latest updates from July to September 2025, featuring impactful research releases, expanding investor members’ network and key milestones. This quarter, we focused on water resilience in food systems, hosting a session at World Water Week in Stockholm and launching a new research briefing to help investors navigate emerging water-related risks.
We also celebrate 10 years of FAIRR - from an initial idea to a global investor network of US$80 trillion, FAIRR has become a leading source of expertise in the agri-food sector. To mark the anniversary, we published a report using the data from the last 7th iteration of the Coller FAIRR Protein Producer Index, highlighting progress by the global protein producers, while also showcasing the gaps that remain. The report also explores how companies are tackling critical risks and opportunities across antibiotic use, climate and nature, and food systems transformation.

Waste & Pollution engagement - Phase 3 progress report
FAIRR has completed the final phase of a three-year engagement with leading pork, poultry, and fertiliser companies, supported by 71 investors representing US$16.6 trillion in combined AUM.
This final publication reveals that although 83% of companies assess water-quality risks in their operations, they lack transparency in disclosing results. Meanwhile, fertiliser producers have yet to evaluate product risks, focusing instead on collaborations, while weak financial incentives continue to hold back progress on circularity.
