Matthew joined the FAIRR Initiative in January 2020 and is responsible for digital marketing, content design, data management and operations.
Fuelled by his passion for animal welfare, conservation and human rights, Matthew is a hardened champion of FAIRR’s work to “change the conversation” and reduce ESG risks in the animal protein industry. He has previously worked for non-profit organisations that push for regulatory and legislative change, such as PETA and the International Planned Parenthood Federation, and membership bodies, such as The Royal Society. He has held roles in fundraising, communications and project management.
In addition to this, Matthew is an experienced copyeditor and translator. He is fluent in English, Dutch and Hebrew, and holds a bachelors degree in European Social and Political Studies from University College London.
