Kiyomi joined FAIRR in 2023 as a Senior Analyst within the Index team, with the primary focus on overseeing the processes to deliver the Coller FAIRR Protein Producer Index and identifying areas of research.

Working at FAIRR

Kiyomi works within the Index team to ensure that the Coller FAIRR Protein Producer Index can drive better engagement and stewardship outcomes for investor members by providing a deeper understanding of critical risks and opportunities faced by the meat, dairy and aquaculture companies.

Her roles include ensuring the robustness of the methodology, producing interesting content based on Index data and building relationships with relevant stakeholders including subject-matter experts and protein producers.

She also oversees the Coller FAIRR Protein Producer Index Report – which for the latest iteration focused on key topics such as SBTi FLAG, Circularity, Antibiotics and Animal Welfare and Human Capital Risks.

Kiyomi started her career at Vigeo Eiris as a research analyst specialising in Japanese companies. When Moody's Corporation acquired Vigeo Eiris, she subsequently worked as a product specialist for ESG products.

Kiyomi has a BA in International Relations from King’s College London and holds an MSc in Comparative Social Policy from University of Oxford. She is also currently pursuing a part-time MSc in Climate Change and Development from SOAS, which is funded by a corporate scholarship programme.

Kiyomi also became a liveryman of the City of London in 2023 through her work with the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals. Originally from Japan, she has lived and worked in several countries and speaks fluent Japanese, Mandarin and English.
